Assistant Dean of Development, USC School of Dramatic Arts
Sara Fousekis has over 20 years of experience leading successful fundraising campaigns for the performing arts. She assumed the position as Assistant Dean of Development for the USC School of Dramatic Arts (SDA) in 2012. In this role, Fousekis oversees raising annual and capital funds to support priority growth areas for the School, and is launching a $60M campaign for SDA. Prior to her arrival at USC, Fousekis was the Associate Vice President of Development at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County and spent 10 years at the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre, where she completed a campaign for its newest 600-seat theatre. Her areas of expertise include volunteer engagement, campaign development, corporate sponsorships, and long-range planning. In addition to these roles, Sara has been a consultant for several non-profit groups and a speaker at numerous fundraising summits/events, schools and the James Irvine Foundation Peer Exchange program. Sara hails from Berkeley, California and holds a bachelor’s degree with high honors from Kenyon College.
